Shawmut Design and Construction is seeking an energetic, service‑minded Marketing Specialist to support our growing Mission Critical construction portfolio. This role partners closely with Business Development and Operations leaders to develop compelling, high‑impact proposals that win complex, fast‑paced work across the country-particularly in Mission Critical environments such as data centers and other high‑reliability facilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the rigor, urgency, and precision required for Mission Critical pursuits and can translate technical project information into clear, client‑focused marketing materials. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in deadline‑driven environments. Responsibilities - Develop and produce RFP and RFQ responses for Mission Critical construction pursuits, ensuring submissions are fully responsive, well‑coordinated, and aligned with pursuit strategy - Partner with Mission Critical Operations teams to position Shawmut's Mission Critical experience, technical expertise, and differentiators - Prepare client‑specific portfolio books, qualifications packages, and information materials tailored to Mission Critical owners and operators - Create and maintain accurate Mission Critical project descriptions and data within internal project databases - Develop and update individual and team resumes that highlight relevant Mission Critical experience - Identify opportunities for press releases, case studies, and creative assignments related to Mission Critical work - Develop and maintain marketing collateral templates that support fast‑paced pursuit needs - Coordinate photography and visual assets for Mission Critical projects - Provide administrative, production, and proposal support as needed - Uphold Shawmut values, brand standards, and best practices Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required - Minimum 3 years of professional marketing experience, preferably supporting construction, AEC, or professional services organizations - Experience supporting Mission Critical construction pursuits (e.g., data centers, high‑availability infrastructure, healthcare, life sciences) strongly preferred - Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management - Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail - Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines with a high sense of urgency - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Thrives in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment - Experience working in an office or hybrid office setting - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Expert knowledge of PowerPoint, with the ability to build clear, compelling pursuit presentations - Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus EEO Information Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or restriction, now and in the future.
