Human-AI Interaction & UX Expert (AI Community) English Global, Saudi Arabia Preferred availability 4 to 40 hours per week Compensation USD 18 - 50 per hour Job description About the Role: At TELUS Digital, we don't just build smart AI; we build intuitive AI. As a Human-AI Interaction (HAI) & UX Expert, you are the architect of the user experience. You study the "friction" between human intent and machine response, refining the personality, empathy, and logic of the AI. Your goal is to move AI from being a "tool" to becoming a "partner" by optimizing how it handles multi-turn conversations and builds user trust. At TELUS, you ensure technology adapts to the human, not the other way around. Key Responsibilities: - Conversational UX Auditing: Analyze the "flow" of multi-turn interactions to ensure the AI maintains state, reduces cognitive load, and provides concise, actionable answers. - Trust & Calibration Analysis: Identify instances where the AI is overconfident (leading to false trust) or overly cautious (leading to frustration) and refine the "Calibration of Trust." - Persona & Tone Synthesis: Develop and test specialized personas (e.g., Empathetic Counselor vs. Objective Data Analyst) to ensure tone-alignment across different industries. - Accessibility & Inclusivity Design: Evaluate how models handle diverse speech patterns, non-standard dialects, and accessibility needs to ensure the AI is truly global. Qualification path Mandatory Qualifications: - Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree specifically in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Psychology, UX Research, or Behavioral Economics. - Native Language: Native-level proficiency (C2+) in your primary language is mandatory to evaluate the cultural "vibe" and natural flow of dialogue. - English Proficiency: Minimum B1 (Intermediate) level English for global community collaboration.
