Global Procurement Manager

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for warehouse supplies, equipment, packaging, and indirect categories. • Identify cost reduction opportunities through supplier consolidation, negotiations, and total cost of ownership analysis. • Lead RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers. • Manage supplier relationships to ensure service, quality, pricing, and performance expectations are met. • Negotiate and administer contracts, including SLAs, pricing structures, renewal terms, and risk mitigation clauses. • Monitor supplier KPIs such as on-time delivery, capacity availability, cost performance, and compliance. • Partner with operations leaders to forecast demand and ensure timely availability of goods and services. • Support Solutions Engineering and Operations Excellence teams with new customer bid opportunities and new client start up activities. • Resolve supply disruptions and escalations impacting operations or customer commitments. • Work with site General Managers to ensure purchasing activities align with financial targets. • Track spend, analyze cost drivers, and report savings, cost avoidance, and variance analysis. • Work closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure purchasing activities aligns with financial targets and goals as well as help with invoice dispute resolution. • Establish and improve procurement processes, policies, and controls. • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. • Leverage procurement systems and analytics tools to drive visibility and efficiency. • Mentor and guide buyers or procurement analysts, if applicable. • Serve as a procurement subject matter expert for cross functional initiatives. • Support ESG, supplier diversity, and responsible sourcing initiatives as applicable.
