• Understand business requirements and system functionality • Create manual test scenarios, test cases and test scripts • Execute functional and non-functional tests: (acceptance, regression, integration, exploratory, compatibility, load and security) • Identify, record and track defects, ensuring proper documentation • Support the Product Owner in defining acceptance criteria • Participate in the validation and sign-off of deliveries (sprints and releases) • Plan and manage test cycles, ensuring adequate coverage • Evaluate test results and recommend continuous improvements • Create and maintain test documentation (plans, evidence, test data sets) • Build mocks, stubs and simulators for test execution • Support version sign-off and validation of system integrations • Monitor and maintain test routines in controlled environments • Support the development team in validating deliveries
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT (completed)
- Strong experience with manual testing in complex systems
- Knowledge of test and defect management tools
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Knowledge of BDD, ATDD or Specification by Example
- Basic test automation knowledge (advantageous, not mandatory)
- Knowledge of API testing and system integration testing
- Experience with performance and security testing (OWASP — a plus)
- Test data generation and log analysis
