Job Description
Graphic Designer
Synera
• Turn value stories into visitor journeys that generate leads • You are the primary owner of Synera's website design: new pages, redesigns, layout optimizations, and the design system all run through you. • Build repeatable, automated design workflows using tools like n8n, Claude, Nano Banana—or whatever gets the job done—to scale asset production, templatize recurring formats, and free up time for work that requires a human eye. • Create assets across every marketing channel: social posts, email headers, event collateral, trade show materials, one-pagers, whitepapers, ads. If it's not the website, you help design and produce assets for campaigns across web, social, email, and print. • Coordinate brand evolution, the design system, and shared asset libraries. • In the first 6 months: take end-to-end ownership of the website and launch visitor journeys for at least two target personas with measurable lead-generation impact. • By 12 months: website visitor journeys are data-driven and continuously optimized; you have demonstrably scaled the team's design output through AI automation and templatization and independently manage web and social design for full campaigns, end-to-end.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in B2B web design, landing pages, and marketing asset creation
- Proven experience designing for lead generation and conversion—you understand what drives action, not just what looks good
- Expert-level skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Track record of building repeatable, AI-powered workflows (not just "I've used Midjourney"): e.g., n8n pipelines, LLM-based content-to-design workflows, batch processing, templated generation chains. You have built systems that scale output.
- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and the ability to design layouts that are implementable, not just visually appealing
- Experience creating assets across multiple channels: web, social media, email, and print
- Strong UX thinking: able to map user journeys, structure information hierarchy, and design for specific audience segments
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to take a loose brief and get started without waiting for a detailed spec
- Comfortable working in Webflow for landing pages, content updates, and layout tweaks without requiring a developer for every change
- Strong English skills for working in an international business environment
- Bonus — front-end coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to prototype or implement without developer dependency
- Motion design/animation skills (three.js, Lottie, After Effects, Rive)
- Experience in B2B/SaaS or engineering-audience marketing
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, heatmaps) to inform design decisions
- Experience with design systems at scale
- Print production experience
- B2-level French for our expansion into France (optional)
Benefits
- Flexible working: choose when and where you work (must be resident in Germany)
- Flexible public holidays: swap days off according to your values and beliefs
- Home office setup support and access to our office in Bremen
- Personal development budget of €2,000 for conferences, training, or books to improve in your chosen area
- Unlimited vacation policy: we trust team members to decide what's best for them and the company
- JobRad bike leasing for those who prefer two wheels over four
- Company fitness with Wellpass and mental health support via nilo
- Regular team events, virtual coffee breaks, and spontaneous afterworks
- Company-wide off-sites 2–3 days twice a year
