Branch FinancialBranch Financial is a Columbus, Ohio-based insurance company committed to making insurance more affordable and accessible for everyone, with services encompassi
Branch is on a mission to make insurance more accessible, so more people can be covered. We innovate using data, tech, and automation to simplify insurance from start to finish—we eliminated inaccurate quotes in favor of real prices, created a better way to bundle, and cut unnecessary costs in the traditional insurance process. Then we pass those savings along to our members. Basically, we’re doing insurance the way it was meant to be. But we didn’t just create the insurance we’ve always wanted, we also created the company we’ve always wanted to work for. As we redefine insurance, we also want to redefine what it means to work in insurance. Find out for yourself. Branch has a preference for candidates in Ohio, but is open to candidates located in AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MO, NV, NC, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, and WI. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. Branch is remote first, with most Branchers choosing to work from home. Our headquarters are located in Columbus, Ohio, where we come together from time to time to build relationships and connect with each other in real life. We also have office space in Columbia and Concordia, Missouri as well as Forreston, Illinois. Once a year, the entire company gathers for “BranchFest”, a highlight of the year for many Branchers. About the role Branch’s Associate Account Manager owns and grows Branch’s National Independent Agency, Aggregator, and Network partnerships by making informed decisions, holding partners accountable, and driving sustained increases in quote volume, policy production, and long-term profitability. Key Responsibilities Owns decisions related to assigned national agencies and groups, including partnership activation, prioritization, optimization, and when to pause or exit underperforming relationships. Makes informed, timely decisions by leveraging data, partner feedback, and internal insights, escalating with a recommendation and rationale, not uncertainty. Drives partner accountability by setting clear expectations for quote volume, bind ratios, and production growth, and holding agencies responsible for results. Proactively challenges partners to increase policy count, product adoption, and engagement through confident, sales-oriented conversations. Identifies and addresses performance gaps by diagnosing root causes (pricing, process, training, adoption) and implementing action plans to improve results. Leads with a sales mindset, consistently positioning Branch’s value proposition and guiding partners toward behaviors that result in increased policy production. Maintains close follow-through after decisions and initiatives are launched, monitoring outcomes and adjusting strategy as needed to drive measurable growth. Confidently delivers difficult messages to partners when expectations are not being met, including resetting goals, changing approach, or recommending a pause in the relationship. Uses data to influence behavior, sharing insights and trends with partners to reinforce why increased engagement and policy volume matter. Acts as a consultative driver, not an order-taker: guiding partners toward decisions that benefit both Branch and the agency. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise Property & Casualty insurance experience required; active Property & Casualty license preferred. Proven account management experience with the ability to own complex partner relationships and influence outcomes. 3–5 years of sales and/or marketing account management experience, with a demonstrated ability to drive measurable growth and production. Strong decision-making capability, including the confidence to assess situations, make recommendations, and act without waiting for direction. Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to challenge partners, push for increased quote activity and policy production, and drive accountability. Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies. Bias toward action, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining urgency and follow-through. Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, remote collaboration tools, and agency quote/bind platforms. Working knowledge of API integrations, capable of supporting first-level implementation questions and troubleshooting. Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and adaptable, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strategic thinker who can see both the big picture and the details, addressing multiple challenges in parallel. Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to confidently influence partners and represent Branch with credibility and professionalism. Why join us at Branch?
