Role Description We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Solutions Engineer to join our Solution Consulting team and support demo and proof-of-value (PoV) environments for sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives. You will collaborate with solutions architects, product managers, and developers to ensure that lab infrastructure is robust, secure, and aligned with real-world use cases. In this role, you will be responsible for: - Pre-Sales & Technical Engagement: - Partner with AEs, Solution Architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored platform demonstrations, manage POC engagements, and respond to RFI/RFP requests — driving technical sales cycles to completion. - Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure seamless solution delivery and a positive post-sale customer experience. - Demo Environment & Infrastructure: - Design, deploy, and maintain virtual and physical lab environments across hybrid cloud and on-premise platforms (VMware, KVM, AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring availability, security, and alignment with the latest product releases. - Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform) and reusable components to streamline environment provisioning and accelerate field team deployments. - Collaboration & Enablement: - Work cross-functionally with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Field Engineering to ensure demo content reflects current product capabilities and best practices. - Maintain comprehensive documentation and troubleshooting guides, providing ongoing guidance and support to field teams on demo setup and usage. Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience in systems engineering, presales, back office support, dev ops, IT infrastructure. - Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Packer). - Familiar with APIM, Integration, and Data Integration platforms (Boomi, Workato, Mulesoft). - Basic scripting skills in Python, Ruby, PowerShell, or Bash. - Experience managing cloud-based resources (e.g., AWS EC2, Azure VM). - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Requirements - Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). - Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience working with demo platforms or technical enablement teams. - Understanding of enterprise software architectures and APIs (REST, gRPC). Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics - Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. - Able to translate technical requirements into actionable lab builds. - Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks or environments. - Comfortable working in fast-paced and collaborative settings.
