Job Requirements
- PhD in Business Administration, or Accounting from a regionally accredited higher education institution
- 2 years or more of professional experience in business field
- Required CPA and VITA certification to teach ACC-350

• Lead cash accounting activities for The Home Depot • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of cash-related transactions • Oversee Cash Depository and Cash Disbursements • Plan and execute the month end close process • Review monthly profit and loss statements • Monitor compliance with GAAP • Supervise a team of Sr Accountants and Accountants
• Oversees and develops the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and process improvements • Managing reconciliations, audits, and cross-departmental collaboration while driving strategic initiatives • Personnel management and development of the accounting team, including performance evaluation and coaching • Reviewing of all accounting entries, bank reconciliations and other general ledger account reconciliations • Analyzing current accounting practices and processes • Make recommendations and implementing efficiencies within the team and the business to ensuring integrity of the general ledgers • Manage external and regulatory reviews, audits and examinations when needed and complete requested materials • Document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility and for other businesses within the Company • Provide assistance to the planning & analysis function and the tax function on a routine basis • Performing various ad hoc financial and operational analyses and contributing to department and organization special projects as assigned
