Manager Group Accounting, IFRS

Spheros

• Lead the preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements, disclosure notes, and management reports • Support the monthly and annual consolidation process • Collaborate closely with international subsidiaries for accurate reporting • Maintain and update Group Accounting Policies and Manual • Drive the implementation of new or revised IFRS standards • Provide guidance on complex accounting topics • Design and maintain the Group internal control framework • Act as a business partner for local accounting teams • Serve as a key contact for external auditors • Work closely with Group Controlling and subsidiaries for consistent accounting treatment

Job Requirements

  • Degree from a business school or MBA
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing
  • Strong audit background, ideally at a Big 4 or another reputable audit firm
  • Proven experience with IFRS
  • Experience with group reporting or consolidation processes
  • Strong technical understanding of IFRS
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with consolidation tools (e.g., LucaNet, SAP BFC) is an advantage
  • Business-fluent German and English skills
