Role Description - Manage and coordinate the property acquisitions process from contract to closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all steps. - Conduct thorough title searches, examine title commitments, and resolve any title issues or discrepancies. - Prepare and review closing documents, including title affidavits, endorsements, and settlement statements. - Coordinate with title companies, lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction closings. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices throughout the acquisitions process. - Maintain detailed and organized records of all acquisition transactions and related documentation. - Communicate effectively with internal teams and external parties to provide updates and resolve issues. - Support due diligence efforts and conduct risk assessments related to property titles and acquisitions. - Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the efficiency of acquisitions and title work. Qualifications - Proven experience in property acquisitions, title examination, or real estate closing processes. - Strong knowledge of real estate title documentation, title commitment review, and closing procedures. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple acquisition transactions simultaneously. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. - Proficiency in relevant software and platforms used in property acquisitions and title management. - Ability to work independently and during U.S. business hours. - High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive real estate information. - Thorough understanding of real estate transactions, particularly concerning contractual matters. - Expertise in real estate law or relevant experience in roles such as a Conveyancing Secretary or Conveyancing Paralegal. - Prior experience is essential. - Comfortable working U.S. hours. Requirements - Remote work from home. Benefits - Paid in South African Rands (ZAR). - Full-Time, Work from Home. - Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm (US Hours).
