• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures using Snowflake and Databricks • Develop and manage ELT/ETL workflows using dbt, ensuring modular, testable, and well-documented transformations • Develop and maintain cloud-native data pipelines on AWS (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR) • Architect and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases • Build and manage data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows • Leverage Python for data engineering, automation, and advanced data processing • Implement and manage Feature Store solutions for ML lifecycle management • Utilize Snowflake Cortex for AI/ML-powered data applications and advanced analytics • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions • Establish data governance, data quality, and security best practices • Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of data platforms • Mentor and guide data engineers and other team members
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
- Strong expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, security)
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt, ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline orchestration
- Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, Redshift, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data warehouses and data lake
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex and AI-driven data applications
- Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, workflows)
- Experience with Dagster (data orchestration and pipeline management)
- Hands-on experience with Feature Stores (e.g., Snowflake Feature Store or similar)
- Knowledge of machine learning workflows and MLOps practices
- Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)
- Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks
- Certifications in AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks.
