Role Description Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to support strategic accounts and join our growing team. The Service Coordinator position will maintain the Company fleet for maximum equipment life and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include: - Receive, review and organize estimate request submissions from technicians and clients - Own and recommend estimate process changes - Set pricing for maintenance and repair work, ensuring compliance with contracts - Determine the scope of the repair or maintenance work and parts needed for the requested service/s - Control cost by vetting and applying profitable parts to all orders - Own quality of estimates by implementing quality control measures beneficial to KPIs - Manage communication with technicians and Fleet Managers to obtain required information and build accurate quotes for the client - Own the estimate submission process from start to finish for authorizations - Manage communications with the authorizing party to obtain approval prior to work commencement - Determine best course of action to ensure authorizations are received - Confirm parts on hand and coordinate with Central Procurement to order on-demand parts - Schedule services based on part availability and determine priority of service with current workload - Manage various internal and external third-party software to update the status of services - Manage estimate rejections and apply corrections as needed - Facilitate system validation error corrections with appropriate IT teams - Ensure estimates are built properly to maintain segment profitability - Manage part availability so jobs can be scheduled for repair - Manage communications pertaining to work order status with client and observe workflow progress - Manage scheduling planned maintenance events based on pre-approvals - Identify units out of service and collaborate with Fleet Manager to expedite repairs - Receive, review, and respond to customer escalations regarding expected maintenance service completion Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of automotive / technical experience - Prior technician/mechanic experience is preferred - Familiarity with key vehicle parts - Dealership service advisor experience preferred - Ability to update and interact in fleet systems - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to follow instructions - Strong computer skills/phone/customer service/leadership and interpersonal skills - Excel skills preferred - Must be multi-task oriented - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Requirements - Remote work environment Benefits - Competitive hourly pay – paid weekly, every Friday - Full benefits within 30 days - Medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, life insurance, disability insurance - 401(k) match program - Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time - Commitment to safety through boot and prescription safety glasses reimbursement - Career and learning development with an extensive training program through Amerit University - Employee referral program, up to $500 bonus - ASE certification program with fee reimbursement and bonus - Employee recognition platform that includes opportunities to redeem points for merchandise - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - 24/7 nurse triage line - Employee discounts on cell phone service and entertainment tickets - Employee resource groups (ERGs) that foster inclusion - Wellness and fitness programs through our providers
