Job Description

Sr Architect

Arionkoder

Role Description The Sr Architect at Arionkoder is not only a technical manager. You are the delivery anchor inside The Foundry — our core system for turning ideas into production-ready software. You own execution quality across active engagements, hold the technical bar on everything we ship, and build a team capable of doing increasingly complex work. This role sits at the center of an organizational evolution toward distributed engineering leadership. The right candidate thinks like an owner, leads like a partner, and earns trust from clients and engineers alike. You thrive with autonomy, move with urgency, and take full accountability for every engagement you touch. You'll be in the work, not above it. Responsibilities - Delivery ownership: Own technical quality and on-time execution across client engagements. Hold the definition of done. Catch scope drift, estimation gaps, and risk early, and surface them before they become problems. - Architecture and technical direction: Lead solution design, make technology calls, and own them through production. Define and enforce engineering standards across delivery teams. - Team leadership: Directly lead senior engineers. Build trust and continuity during structural change. Run code reviews, retrospectives, and post-mortems. Close capability gaps through mentorship and practice change. - Cross-functional coordination: Lead the Engineering Guild. Align with PMO, Solutioning, Casting, and Innovation to keep delivery clean and connected across The Foundry. - Presales support: Partner with Solutioning on technical discovery and proposals. Validate that what gets sold can be built. Qualifications - 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 in a technical leadership role (Sr Architect, Engineering Manager, or equivalent) - 3+ years in a consulting or software services firm — managing concurrent client engagements with direct accountability for delivery outcomes - Proven experience owning architecture decisions end-to-end, from design through production, across multiple simultaneous projects - Experience directly leading senior engineers through periods of organizational or team change - Hands-on background in Python, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization — sufficient to evaluate what the team produces and hold credible technical conversations with clients - Track record of honest estimation and clear communication of technical risk to non-technical stakeholders - C1 English Benefits - 💵 Competitive USD salary - 🌴 20 business days of vacation per year + 6 National holidays - 🐣 Family Leave - 💻 A dynamic remote work culture. You can work from Anywhere! - 🚀 An entrepreneurial environment.
