Position Overview - Reporting and Analytics Sr. Advisor The IT Data Management team is looking for a Reporting and Analytics Sr. Advisor to join our Data and Reporting team. Role Overview and Responsibilities: This role within the IT Data Management team will report to the Sr. Director of IT Data Management and Operations. The focus of this role will be as a reporting and analytics advisor. That is to provide end to end support for internal reporting and dashboard management. Including but not limited to: requirements gathering, building new reporting and visualizations, updating data sets to meet new business needs, providing scalable, repeatable and trustworthy outputs that are self-serve and easy to use, as well as documenting processes and training end users on how to use the reporting. Responsibilities include: - Working knowledge of the full data lifecycle/journey: input/quality, business gaps, requirements gathering, outputs, reporting, and visualization - Work assigned tickets within given SLAs to meet customer needs - Understand Business requirements and translate those into impactful analytics - Build SQL/DAX queries, creating/updating tables and views - Design, build and maintain Microsoft PowerBI dashboards, workspaces and apps - Document Processes and Training for end users - Create new reporting outputs, with a focus on self-service, automation, and standardization - Data validation and quality control, as well as root cause analysis for any data inconsistencies Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science or similar discipline - Advanced Knowledge of Power BI is a must - Working Knowledge of Data Quality Concepts and applying them to reporting - Working Knowledge of Snowflake Data Cloud - 5-7 years' experience handling reporting/analytics in a high growth fast paced environment (SaaS company preferred) - 5-7 years' experience using visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) - Understanding of industry trends and best practices within the Data and Reporting world - Strong Collaboration, Communication and Documentation skills Boomi is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind.
