• The Clinical Specialist is responsible for primary clinical support in assisting sales representatives to develop new sales opportunities and accounts with physician and hospital accounts. • Provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, patient care, installation and maintenance of company products. • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and staff at assigned clinical sites by providing a high level of service and responsiveness by providing ongoing education and clinical expertise regarding the use of the company’s products. • Provide technical and educational training to physicians and staff on the use of the company’s products. • Provide case support, including Operating Room/Procedure support. • Perform patient follow-up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted products. • Develop and maintain business relationships with hospital personnel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
- 3+ years of experience in implantable medical devices.
- Operating room experience.

• Provide day-to-day support for patient care coordination by processing referrals, communicating with patients, providers, pharmacies, and healthcare facilities, and ensuring treatment plans are completed accurately and efficiently. • Serve as the primary point of contact for patient questions regarding referrals, medications, imaging, lab work, authorizations, and other care-related needs. • Collaborate with healthcare providers and facilities to ensure all aspects of patient care are coordinated effectively. • Manage referrals, tests, procedures, and timely delivery of care services. • Coordinate and communicate medication and authorization information with pharmacies and insurance providers. • Communicate with patients and healthcare facilities regarding the status of labs, imaging, and medical services. • Complete scheduling requests and schedule patients appropriately based on treatment plans. • Utilize critical thinking to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions. • Maintain accurate patient records, demographic information, and documentation of all patient interactions. • Monitor patient progress and satisfaction to identify opportunities for improvement. • Treat patients with empathy, professionalism, and compassion in all written and verbal communication. • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
