• Grow the electrical safety research portfolio at the Foundation • Oversee the conduct of funded projects including the management of requests for proposals, project panel activities, sponsor communications, contractor progress and activities, and reports, to ensure successful project completion. • Develop technical and financial support for Foundation projects to meet budgetary and program objectives. • Manage project financials including fundraising, budgeting, confirming and monitoring sponsor contributions, and monitoring of project costs including contracts and other project costs to meet project goals. • Identify opportunities for research funding and coordinate proposals and fundraising efforts. • Facilitate research program planning in conjunction with Foundation planning councils, NFPA Technical Committees, and industry groups in order to document research agendas and support development of projects. • Implement communications within selected program areas including industry meetings, general Foundation outreach, and internal NFPA communications to maintain the Foundation’s public presence. • Advise and act as a subject matter expert and technical resource for relevant NFPA activities. • Interact with and respond to media inquiries as needed.

• The Project Manager is responsible for the development, conduct and completion of research projects in accordance with the reasonable requirements of the originator of the project. • Responsible for all aspects of study management activities including cross functional team Leadership and co-ordination, Client communication/ management, financial management and Overall study delivery. • Ensure studies are resourced effectively, managed efficiently, achieve project objectives within allocated budgets and agreed timelines and are conducted to the highest standards of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). • Mentor/coaches Junior Project Management staff or Clinical Delivery Leads and assists their technical development. • Manage independently or with support from Portfolio Delivery Leads or Line Manager. • Maintain effective professional relationships with external customers, investigators and vendors. • Provide clear guidance to project team on project specific deliverables.

• Functions as a member of the Early Phase Project Management Team at Emerald Clinical. • Provides project management expertise for commercial and academic studies. • Operates cross functionally to ensure effective project outcomes. • Responsible for study management activities including team leadership, client communication, financial management, and overall study delivery. • Develops, conducts, and completes research projects under guidance of experienced Project Manager or Portfolio Delivery Leader. • Coordinates project activities in accordance with project specific documentation, applicable SOPs, ICH GCP, and regulatory requirements. • Maintains effective professional relationships with external customers, investigators, and vendors. • Helps identify project specific activities needing outsourcing and involved in selection of suitable vendors.

• To manage the full lifecycle of a large portfolio of complex enterprise level software solutions into live mission critical healthcare environments, and be responsible for improving project efficiency and effectiveness through project management process and tool improvements. • To work with and follow the guidance of the Programme Manager or Programme Director • Project management and coordination of large-scale enterprise class software delivery to external customers (NHS Trusts and Hospitals, etc) • To maintain and improve project management process and tools to achieve target improvements • To be responsible for all the project management activities in accordance with the company project management procedure (Prince 2 based): • Project planning, scheduling, monitoring and control of all aspects of the project. • Undertake risk and issue management • Maintaining all project documentation in line with the Clinisys Delivery Method • Provide status reports identifying accomplishments, risks, issues, milestones against the baseline plan together with monthly project forecasts • Hold and attend regular internal and customer led project meetings • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders • Matrix team/resource management, across internal service, delivery, development and third-party vendor teams • To motivate all members involved in the project to ensure it is completed on time, to the specified budget, quality, and performance criteria • Coordinate delivery of software developments as necessary • Arrange delivery of projects in accordance with the contractual requirements. • Ensuring contract acceptance and sign off by the customer • Accept hand over from the sales team to commence project initiation • Delivering project hand over to the support team • To coordinate activities between Clinisys and third parties as required within the scope of the project • To facilitate quality activities of the project and delivery team • To progress personal development and encourage the development of other staff members • To contribute to the team spirit within the company and to actively promote a customer-oriented approach • Perform other related duties as required or assigned • Participate in cross-functional projects
