Sales Development Representative
Anaqua
• Respond to and develop marketing leads into qualified sales meetings • Call on predefined prospect lists to generate new sales pipeline opportunities • Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify ongoing goals and needs; work to structure regionalized strategies to capitalize on opportunities • Nurture prospects according to sales and marketing strategies to qualify prospects and initiate warm hand off • Leverage and expand both account and contact base with networking and research to develop additional leads for prospective clients
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred
- The ability to learn new technology and convey our message to customers quickly
- Telemarketing, sales, fundraising, or customer service experience
- Ability to be self-motivated, methodical, optimistic, and competitive
- Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Strong analytical, negotiation and creative problem-solving skills
- Specific experience working with a CRM platform preferred, Salesforce.com a plus

• Manage the complete sales process within your assigned territory, from lead generation through post‑sales follow‑up, in close alignment with Account Managers. • Identify and qualify chromatography opportunities (consumables and systems) through collaboration with field sales, marketing, and business area initiatives. • Drive product adoption by focusing on seeding, specification, and early‑stage technical qualification activities. • Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams to demonstrate the value of Sartorius chromatography solutions. • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer and opportunity data within CRM systems. • Provide technical expertise and customer insights (VoC) related to resin, membrane, and monolith‑based chromatography. • Support and/or conduct product trials, demonstrations, and Lunch‑and‑Learn sessions at customer sites. • Build strong partnerships with Account Management to ensure cohesive territory strategy and execution. • Manage a balanced opportunity funnel (short-, mid-, and long‑term) to support ongoing product and revenue goals. • Develop and execute action plans to grow and protect chromatography business within your territory.
