Natera
Role Description Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) are members of Natera's Medical Education team. They represent Natera by serving as scientific ambassadors, working to educate and develop relationships with clinicians, researchers, payers, and other healthcare professionals. MSLs also work with Natera’s clinical, R&D, marketing, and sales teams to encourage the full potential of product life cycle and pipeline. The MSL is the field-based scientific expert who will travel within their assigned territory to educate healthcare professionals and provide clinical support to the Natera sales team. Through their expertise and external interactions, they will gain and share the medical voice of customers to assist in the development and execution of strategic plans that support Natera’s full suite of genetic testing products. The MSL is technologically savvy and knows how to appropriately share and use this knowledge to improve business. Territory: Southeast: Georgia, South Carolina, and parts of Alabama, parts of TN Primary Responsibilities - Represent Natera and its products, with clinicians, academic institutions, and professional organizations. - Provide scientific and/or clinical presentations on Natera’s products. - Address the specific needs of customers by responding to requests for information about our marketed and developing products. - Serve as a medical and scientific resource for the Natera Sales and Marketing teams. - Develop, maintain, and manage interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (“KOLs”) from the obstetrics and genetics communities as well as other relevant healthcare professionals. - Provide scientific and/or clinical presentations on Natera’s women's health and genetic testing products. - Review and report out test results to ordering clinicians. - Develop educational materials for healthcare providers and patients. Qualifications - American Board of Genetic Counseling certification. - Master’s degree required. - Minimum of 2 years of multidisciplinary genetic counseling experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Outgoing and confident demeanor. - Independent thinker and persuasive communicator. - Experience in establishing strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholder functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, R&D) and external customers.
