Data Analyst, Away from Home Sales Operations

• Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources including sales, distribution, customer feedback, and market trends • Perform analysis and generate reports from disparate systems to support sales requests, customer presentations, and strategic initiatives • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to identify business opportunities and challenges • Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to inform strategic planning • Support data-driven decision by translating complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for Sales Leaders, RSMs, BDMs, and cross-functional stakeholders • Ensure data integrity and maintain documentation of methodologies and processes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis in the consumer product goods industry
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and deliver actionable insights
- Strong data hygiene mindset (matching, deduping, referential integrity)
- Familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g., Datassential)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convert analytics into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience in data analysis in Away from Home Segment (Foodservice)
- Experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of the foodservice marketplace and product categories
- Experience working with Salesforce data models (Accounts, Opportunities, Activities)
- Knowledge of operator and distributor ecosystems (Sysco, US Foods, Gordon, regional distributors), GPOs, and broker models or knowledge of B2B Wholesaler model
- Ability to effectively present insights from analysis to customers
- Project management experience

Role Description 20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. The Program Specialist is a data-driven role responsible for managing, analyzing, and validating data within the company’s CRM and reporting systems. This individual will work deeply in data daily pulling reports, auditing exports, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy across sales programs, campaigns, and dealer information. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
