• Operates as the technical expert for import/export compliance programs • Identifying proper tariff classification, country of origin, and free trade agreements for various products • Auditing customs clearance documentation and broker entry accuracy • Supporting value reconciliation and Foreign Trade Zone program • Contribute to continuous process improvements within trade compliance function • Support initiatives aimed at reducing costs related to duties, taxes, and trade-related expenses • Coordinating global logistics activities to move goods by various transportation modes

• Responsible for collecting, preparing, and maintaining license data and documentation • Provide daily support for collecting and maintaining customer and vendor licenses • Assist with preparation of facility regulatory licensing applications • Enter and maintain data in various systems • Collect data, materials, documentation to support regulatory compliance • Review data and documentation to ensure accuracy • Maintain consistent conventions related to data and document retention • Search online databases, websites, and other resources to verify data • Communicate via email and phone with internal and external customers • Document issues and resolutions using Medline’s database

• Ensure compliance with all Agency and regulatory requirements • Composition of policies and procedures, to include comprehensive annual reviews and updates as needed • Oversee JREC's Vendor Management program to include onboarding/offboarding, annual compliance reviews, and system updates and/ or program enhancements • Administer departmental mailbox and correspondence to ensure timely response and resolution of compliance inquiries • Manage system access administration including employee onboarding and offboarding, user permissions, and periodic auditing of access controls • Assist with internal and external audits as needed • Assist with regulatory reporting as needed • Other duties as deemed necessary

About The Role We're hiring a Head of Compliance to design and own Whop's compliance program across all business lines. You'll own regulatory strategy and operational compliance across our payments platform and marketplace — from AML/KYC to trust & safety and privacy. You'll work closely with Product, Payments, and Leadership to build compliance into our business. This role will be part of our Legal, Compliance and Risk function.
