What you'll do: - Execute a high-quality discovery process to set new advertisers up for success with The Trade Desk, uncovering core business objectives and aligning tailored solutions. - Partner closely with global Sales, Client Services, and Trading teams to grow and scale a focused portfolio of accounts. - Build and cultivate strategic relationships with commercial and contract leads across advertising clients and agencies. - Clearly articulate The Trade Desk’s media buying philosophy and platform value, tailoring messaging to each client’s priorities. - Lead RFP responses end-to-end, including qualification, strategy development, and execution. - Identify and convert strategic upsell opportunities by deeply understanding client needs and mapping them to platform capabilities. - Collaborate with product, marketing, and revenue teams to continuously optimise performance against company goals. - Build strong cross-functional relationships across The Trade Desk to mobilise internal expertise and deliver client outcomes. Qualifications - 10 to 15 years’ experience in digital advertising sales, consistently exceeding revenue targets. - Strong, existing network within one or more key verticals such as Pharma, Consumer Electronics, Financial Services, Consumer Goods (F&B & Lifestyle), and Gaming & Entertainment with established access to senior decision-makers. - Strong background in programmatic or adjacent digital media environments (DSPs, SSPs, publishers, exchanges, or similar). - Proven ability to build and close complex, senior-level commercial deals. - Established relationships with decision-makers across major advertisers. - Experience building annual business plans, leading QBRs, and driving structured account growth. - Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and quantitative capability. - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders. - Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, compelling commercial narratives. - Highly collaborative, able to align cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes. - Deep curiosity for the programmatic ecosystem with a strong learning mindset. Requirements - An entrepreneurial problem solver who identifies barriers early, navigates complexity independently, and delivers outcomes with pace and accountability. - Operates with urgency and intent, self-generates momentum, thrives on the hunt, and consistently drives opportunities forward. - A strong individual contributor who can also orchestrate cross-functional teams, aligning and influencing stakeholders to maintain momentum and deliver results. - Brings resilience and optimism, sustaining energy through ambiguity and setbacks. - Demonstrates agility, able to set direction, adapt quickly, and pivot when needed. - A natural relationship builder who establishes trust quickly and cultivates long-term, high-impact partnerships. Benefits - The Trade Desk does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters. Fees will not be paid in the event a candidate submitted by a recruiter without an agreement in place is hired; such resumes will be deemed the sole property of The Trade Desk. - The Trade Desk is an equal opportunity employer.
