Role Description As a Summer Intern at Rensa Filtration, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that align with our company’s goals and provide hands-on learning experiences. Each intern will be assigned a manager at their specific place of work who will guide them, provide feedback, and ensure a valuable experience. You will connect with professionals across departments, attend team meetings, participate in cross-functional projects, and expand your network. At the end of the summer, you will have the chance to showcase what you’ve learned to the Rensa Senior Team through a brief presentation outlining your experiences and insights. The Finance-Focused Data Analyst Intern will support Data Services leadership by evaluating how effectively current enterprise financial data can support Finance decision making. The intern will work with curated financial datasets to: - Assess whether common finance questions can be answered confidently using existing reporting and analytics. - Identify gaps in insight or clarity. - Recommend improvements to reporting and business definitions. This is a non-technical, analytical role focused on financial insight, data interpretation, and executive communication. By the end of 8 weeks, we should expect: - A clear, business-validated list of EDW finance gaps, including areas of the EDW where trust is most likely to break down. - Reduction in “can you explain this number?” conversations. - Collaboration with your assigned manager to receive guidance and feedback. - Connection with professionals across various departments to gain a broad understanding of the company. - Attendance at team meetings and participation in cross-functional projects. - Expansion of your professional network within the company. - Preparation and delivery of a presentation to the Rensa Senior Team at the end of the summer, outlining your experiences and insights. Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant field. - Strong interest in the air filtration industry and a desire to learn. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
