• Set the vision and drive execution for the Loans Lifecycle engineering organization at Affirm, encompassing Loans Platform, Ledger Engineering, and Financial Reporting. • Take ownership of core engineering and business outcomes across the domain, including the loan system of record, ledger pipelines, and financial data delivery to accounting systems. • Define and execute the technical roadmap for service-oriented decomposition, platform scalability, and database architecture evolution to support Affirm's growing loan volume across multiple geographies. • Partner with Accounting, Finance, Capital Markets, Product, and Compliance to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance across all loan products. • Balance product expansion efforts — including international launches, new loan types, and card-related capabilities — with foundational platform investments in reliability, correctness, speed, and operational efficiency. • Drive operational excellence across large-scale batch pipelines and online services, establishing robust incident response, pipeline SLA management, and reconciliation processes. • Run a robust development lifecycle, including continuing agentic adoption and acceleration, while improving a culture of operational excellence. • Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing, globally distributed engineering team across multiple sub-teams and technical disciplines.

• Work on implementation projects, supporting technical configuration and validating integrations according to the client’s scenario • Backend development using Java and Android • Create and optimize queries for Oracle databases • Analyze and resolve technical issues in development and production environments • Apply development best practices (Clean Code and SOLID principles) • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum and Kanban)

• Build and maintain the FlutterFlow frontend for our app • Create pixel-perfect UI with strong layout, interaction, animation, and responsive behavior • Integrate backend APIs, authentication, tenant awareness, and error handling • Help turn AI-powered product features into usable app experiences • Use AI tools daily for development, design, QA, and speed of delivery • Keep work organized, communicate clearly, and document key decisions • Collaborate closely with our AI Tech Lead, Intelligence Officer, and Product team

• Acts as a main point of contact for claims specific questions for the case managers. • Serves as a mentor for new hires as well as supports new hiring training. • Takes an active role in refresher training and development of existing staff. • Ensures case managers are utilizing appropriate risk management skills to secure the appropriate claim outcome. • Conducts manager reviews/audits of claims as necessary to ensure overall quality. • Provides the appropriate coaching and feedback to case managers as needed. • Monitors KPIs and reports to ensure service levels and commitments are met, working with case managers as needed. • Monitors and adjusts workload balancing for case managers. • Provides support to management in facilitating team meetings/huddles. • May periodically manage complex cases and customer escalations. • Elevates any trends and/or coaching opportunities to the leadership team. • Completes special projects and/or ad hoc assignments as requested by leadership. • Performs other related duties as required.
