Marketing Operator

TaiSan

Role Description TaiSan is developing next-generation polymer electrolyte systems to enable Sodium Batteries 2.0 — targeting higher energy density, improved safety, and scalable manufacturing. We are seeking a Marketing Operator to support the execution, development, and scaling of TaiSan’s marketing, brand, and communication systems across digital presence, investor materials, and commercial assets. This role will work closely with the leadership team to: - Improve TaiSan’s website - Develop presentations and external materials - Implement AI-powered workflows to support efficient and consistent marketing execution This role will begin as a short-term project engagement (2–4 weeks), with the potential to transition into a part-time position based on performance and fit. The compensation for the project is to be discussed. The role is particularly suited to individuals with experience in startup environments, cross-functional marketing execution, and AI-assisted workflows, with an interest in supporting frontier innovation in climate-tech and advanced battery systems. Your work will directly impact material optimization, degradation understanding, and readiness for mass production. Key Responsibilities - Website & Digital Presence - Support the development and continuous improvement of TaiSan’s website, including: - Website structure and user flow - Copywriting and messaging clarity - Visual and content alignment with brand positioning - Implementation of updates and iterations - Work closely with the leadership team to: - Translate complex technical concepts into clear external messaging - Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints - Continuously refine positioning based on company progress - Marketing Assets & Content Systems - Design and produce core marketing assets, including: - Leaflets and printed materials - Digital PDFs and company overviews - Structured content templates - Support development of: - Reusable content systems - Consistent brand voice and messaging frameworks - Efficient workflows for ongoing content production - AI Workflows & Automation - Support the implementation of AI-powered tools and systems, including: - Claude / ChatGPT-based content templates - Internal prompt libraries for consistent output - Automation of repetitive marketing and communication tasks - Work with the team to: - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI - Standardize workflows across marketing and communication processes - Enable faster execution with scalable systems - Brand Positioning & Messaging - Support the development and refinement of TaiSan’s external narrative, including: - Company positioning within the battery and climate-tech landscape - Clear communication of technical innovation - Alignment between brand, product, and commercial strategy - Assist leadership in maintaining a consistent and differentiated voice across all outputs. Qualifications - Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in marketing roles - Strong execution ability across marketing, content, and communication tasks - Proven experience implementing AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) into workflows, systems, or projects - Ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear, structured, and compelling messaging - Experience creating high-quality presentations and structured communication materials (investor decks, sales materials, etc.) - Hands-on experience working with and improving websites (e.g. structure, copy, UX, and tools such as Webflow, Framer, or similar) - Strong written communication and attention to detail - High level of independence and ownership, with the ability to proactively identify gaps, suggest improvements, and execute without constant direction - Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities - Interest in climate-tech, energy storage, advanced materials, or deep-tech innovation - Demonstrated ability to take initiative and lead projects or workstreams independently Role Structure - Initial project-based engagement (2–4 weeks) - Potential transition to ongoing part-time role
