Temporary Director – Procurement

• Manage a procurement calendar to ensure proactivity, visibility, and leverage in negotiations • Lead vendor communication and contract negotiations, partnering with leaders across the business to understand stakeholder requirements and secure competitive quotes to reach optimal contract terms • Deliver data-driven spend analysis and insights to senior leadership; proactively identify cost savings opportunities • Partner with Finance and IT Asset Management to integrate procurement with forecasting and cost management • Steward procurement strategy and processes across the organization

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of procurement experience with a record of delivering cost savings and negotiating complex contracts
  • 4+ years of experience directly negotiating software and technology contracts
  • Exceptional understanding of contracts; ability to identify which terms and conditions are commercially favorable or unfavorable
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong communicator with ability to collaborate with cross functional partners at senior levels across the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree required
