• Lead quoting and project management activities for new Wabtec partnership Marine programs within the CSSNA DBU. • Close cross‑functional collaboration to develop accurate cost proposals and coordinate delivery schedules. • Plan, schedule, and lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project quotations, scope, and milestone status. • Responsibilities span the full program lifecycle, including prototype development, installation, commissioning, transition to production release, and ongoing management of subsequent deliveries.
Job Requirements
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.
- Experience in prototype cost analysis and/or manufacturing cost estimation.
- Preferred experience in shipbuilding programs and/or execution within large subcontractor or tiered supplier environments.
- Working knowledge of Product Compliance and Regulatory frameworks applicable to defense programs (e.g., FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, cybersecurity, and applicable industry standards).
- Demonstrated experience managing supply timelines for government and defense-related equipment.
- Demonstrated experience enforcing disciplined project execution, including proactive follow‑up, escalation when required, and accountability for scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Proven experience working on U.S. Government programs requiring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) designation and compliance with applicable information protection and cybersecurity requirements.
- Advanced ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, specifications, and configuration documentation.
- Solid understanding of government contract requirements, including deliverables, documentation standards, and compliance obligations.
- Proven capability to manage configuration changes, revisions, and contract modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity with quality and testing processes, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), inspections, and required documentation packages.
- Ability to effectively utilize and adapt to multiple project management tools and customer-preferred systems.
