Payroll Specialist
XBOW
• Process end-to-end payroll across multiple countries using Remote and Rippling • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements • Manage payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, and benefits deductions • Coordinate with external payroll providers and local authorities as needed • Reconcile payroll reports, general ledger entries, and payroll-related accruals • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly • Calculate, validate, and process commission payments accurately and on schedule • Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to review commission plans, rules, and payouts • Audit commission calculations and resolve disputes or discrepancies • Ensure commission data flows accurately into payroll systems • Maintain payroll and commission documentation, controls, and audit trails • Support internal and external audits related to payroll and commissions • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc payroll and commission reports for Finance and leadership • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities across payroll and commission workflows
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in global payroll, commission processing, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with Remote, Rippling, and Spiff
- Strong knowledge of multi-country payroll compliance and statutory requirements
- Experience reconciling payroll and commission data with accounting systems
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines across time zones
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally in a remote environment
