Role Description The Engineer IV – Data Center Application Engineer – Electrical role is an electrical engineering position within Engineering Services that provides early-stage design creation and technical support to Data Center projects through design phase, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages of projects. This role supports Mortenson’s Data Center and Supply Chain functions. This position is a technical expert providing support across the lifecycle of the project as well as partners closely with Supply Chain to execute technical reviews for strategic sourcing and standardization of data center equipment (e.g., switchgear, UPS, generators, ATS, panelboards, transformers, and distribution). The role provides lifecycle support from pursuit through design, construction, commissioning, and turnover, adjusting focus based on project demand and the ongoing Supply Chain and Data Center needs. Hiring Locations: Minneapolis, MN / Denver, CO / Fargo, ND / San Antonio, TX and remote locations would be considered.
