Role Description The AI Enterprise Architect will be responsible for providing top-level AI-enablement of Digital Core and Data Product solution consulting to our partners, as well as internal C5MI processes. This role will analyze customer requirements to design and architect an effective and optimal technical solution to meet the customer needs. This individual will be delivering capabilities for U.S. government partners (customers) while working on multiple projects simultaneously that consist of deploying SAP-based digital and data solutions. This individual will also provide configuration, setup, and ongoing support of demonstrations and prototypes for our commercial and government partners. Leveraging their functional and technical skills, this role will support internal test, development, and demonstration lab services, incorporating on premise software in an IaaS environment and broader PaaS and SaaS solution integration. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Drives innovative customer success, providing designs, reviews, escalations, and direct support at an Enterprise level for strategic multi-year plans. - Monitors and drives maturity in C5MI internal organization design in optimizing business solutions, managing platform capacity, reducing integration complexity, performance bottlenecks, and maintaining sustainable application health. - Innovates and influences overall AI-enablement solution selection including usage of AI-accelerated prototyping, design, and implementation at the Enterprise level over long term planning horizons. - Advises and coaches internal teams on optimizing various AI enablement options from workgroup software such as M365 CoPilot and custom solutions built from C5MI Partner capabilities. - Demonstrates deep knowledge of AI, DevOps, and Data based on Digital Core systems and other common business system platforms. - Participates in a team and performs assessments at the customer sites as needed. - Incorporates and defines new or adjacent architect roles such as Cloud Platform Engineer, SAP Development Architect, etc. - Innovates new technical ecosystems, including documentation and architectural diagrams. - Leverages practical experience to communicate technical concepts to the Business and IT leadership at all levels. - Provides technical analysis and support for AI-enabling, ML-using, Natural Language-based user interface, and Data Products focused on SAP solutions, and other best of breed solutions. - Leads the creation and documentation of standard operating procedures through playbook/runbook creation and automation. - Understands, assesses and incorporates key design decisions and/or any proposed changes to the solution. - Observes and coaches the implementation teams in addressing any potential gaps in the solution by implementing root cause analysis, identifying preventative solutions, and designing proactive reliability improvement. - Addresses cross-program collaboration between technical and functional teams. - Provides generalized skills to project teams and for other tasks using existing knowledge to expand into new technologies and platforms as required. - Assists with driving and maneuvering organizational requirements in this area as C5MI continues to grow rapidly. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, OR equivalent years of experience. - Must have industry experience of 8 years. - 5 years of experience in SAP or similar Enterprise COTS or bespoke solutions, Data and User Experience software engineering as a Developer, Administrator, Functional Lead, or similar role. - 2 years of demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer for a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects. - 3 Years of experience as an SAP, Web, Cloud-native Software Engineer, Administrator, or similar role. - Experience running SAP or similar Enterprise solutions on multiple database platforms, operating systems, virtualization and automation solutions. - At least 2 years of experience in supporting application security practices, including data classification and security role design. - At least 1 year of experience in extending SAP solutions utilizing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or other Platform as a Service (PaaS) toolsets from AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with utilizing Enterprise Architecture frameworks, toolsets, modeling including SAP, TOGAF, and DoDAF would be a plus. - At least 1 year of experience in supporting automated testing tools, including authoring, data provisioning, execution, and remediation. - Must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance. - Experience with hybrid Cloud implementations and migrations, including experience with IPaaS and SaaS integration design and governance. - Full lifecycle implementation experience; manufacturing and warehouse experience would be a plus. - SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework, SAP Basis, or SAP S/4HANA certification would be a plus. - Experience with the Department of Defense or another federal agency would be a plus.
