• Partner with engineering and product teams on how to best convey ClickHouse’s features in a clear, concise, but comprehensive manner catering to developers with diverse experience levels in ClickHouse and other databases. • Write documentation and guides for new features launched by engineering and product teams. • Proactively engage with the GitHub community to address and resolve any issues pertaining to documentation. This can include: attentively responding to requests for enhancements, such as adding clarity, rectifying errata, and incorporating any other necessary improvements. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by consistently refining and optimizing our processes and style guides. Additionally, actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive collective efforts aimed at enhancing our overall efficiency and effectiveness. • Create scripts and automation to keep documentation up-to-date.

• Architect and ship scalable, mission-critical brokerage systems (gRPC microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, vendor integrations). • Advance the core platform for multi-region, multi-currency, and regulatory context globally. • Own API quality, performance, and operational readiness for regional workloads. • Lead, coach, and develop engineers in Singapore; set clarity on priorities, quality bar, and career growth. • Partner with recruiting on regional hiring and interviews. • Facilitate knowledge sharing and engineering culture across Alpaca. • Act as a senior escalation for incidents affecting regional stacks; improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response. • Participate in on-call as appropriate for the team’s coverage model. • Work with Product, Compliance, and local stakeholders on Singapore and regional requirements. • Collaborate across time zones with US and other regional engineering teams.

Role Description We are currently searching for a role in AI Application Development with the following responsibilities: - Design and develop AI-powered applications using Generative AI and machine learning models. - Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI into enterprise applications. - Build AI copilots, chatbots, document intelligence solutions, and recommendation systems. - Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases. - Develop pipelines for embedding generation, semantic search, and contextual retrieval. - Optimize prompts, context handling, and response accuracy. - Deploy AI models and services using containerization and cloud platforms. - Implement monitoring, evaluation, and feedback loops for AI systems. - Ensure security, scalability, and performance of AI services. Qualifications - Proficiency in Python development and familiarity with libraries like FastAPI, Flask, or Django. - Proven experience with LLMs and foundation models in an enterprise context. - Strong knowledge of RAG architectures and vector databases. - Experience in AI Deployment (MLOps) including containerization and cloud-based services. • Execute all responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s mission, purpose, and values • Lead and contribute to the design, development, and integration of space surveillance sensor systems across the Global Sensor Network • Perform system-level design, simulation, and integration of hardware and software components for advanced space surveillance systems • Design and implement real-time image processing pipelines in GPU-accelerated environments • Develop algorithms and software for sensor data tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination • Apply signal processing and image calibration techniques to improve detection and tracking performance • Develop and optimize C++ and Python (including PyTorch) applications for high-performance computing environments • Support transitions of Slingshot’s products and services to the Slingshot Global Sensor Network (SGSN), space operations centers, and other testbeds • Engage with customers and stakeholders to support mission-critical outcomes • Contribute to product strategy and technical direction through subject matter expertise • Prepare technical reports and briefing materials • Present technical work to internal and external stakeholders • Serve as a technical expert in space surveillance, sensor development, and real-time processing systems • Lead execution of individual and small team technical efforts and contribute to larger cross-team initiatives • Mentor team members and share subject matter expertise • Lead technical contributions to proposals and new business efforts • Champion internal research and development initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned (less than 10% of responsibilities listed above)
