Senior Project Engineer, German Speaker

• Provide Implementation Services to our customers using Clinisys solutions. • Deliver multiple tasks such as Business analysis, data architecture and Gap Fit Workshops, Configuration, unit testing and validation support. • Work with the project manager (in the case of a project), or with the customer services manager, and follow his guidance and planning. • Make proposals and identify technical risks, which you communicate to the project manager. • Prepare your actions, as well as relevant documents, if applicable. • Ensure that your work is properly and promptly documented in MIA. This applies to aftersales tasks as well as to projects. • This also includes the timely recording of your working hours. • Deliver the project tasks assigned to you according to the project plan and budget to the satisfaction of our customers. • Take full responsibility for all functional and/or technical aspects of the tasks assigned to you. • Keep the project manager constantly informed (directly in context) about the status of the tasks assigned to you. • Demonstrate flexibility and undertake business trips to our clients to support them on-site with project implementation. • Manage and implement small projects or sub-projects. • Carry out customer training Internal and external interface between e.g. customer and development department. • Organisation and implementation of handovers (internal and external) in the context of project implementation. • Carrying out update and upgrade projects. • Supporting the support department as needed, coordinating with the Customer Services Manager. • Supporting the sales department in the preparation of quotations under the coordination of the Customer Services Manager or a project manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Alternatively IT Technical training and experience in medical laboratory processes.
  • Experience in the implementation of laboratory information systems.
  • Experience with laboratory processes and organisation.
  • Knowledge of common IT applications Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Healthcare communication standards such as HL7, ASTM, IHE …
  • Operating systems, networking, virtualization.
  • Fluent in German and one second language (English, French or Dutch)
  • Strong motivational skills.
  • Can deliver the tasks in difficult circumstances.
  • High level of commitment and ability to take action when necessary.
  • Inventive and solution oriented, hands on and can do attitude.
  • Punctual and quality minded.
  • Good communication skills: presentation, pedagogic and demonstration competencies.
  • Ability to work both independently as in a team.

Role Description AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated entry-level Geologist to support the Environmental business line, primarily working on Federal projects. This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026. - Apply standard field practices and techniques using basic field equipment to collect samples of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, sediment; prepare samples for shipping, and complete chain-of-custody or similar paperwork. - Apply knowledge of natural sciences (chemistry, physics, biology, hydrology, and mathematics) to explain observations. - Conduct oversight of subcontractors including laboratories and excavation and drilling companies. - Prepare basic data and scientific documents. - Possess technical report writing skills. - Perform unsupervised field tasks. - Coordinate with task and project managers, working with on-site subcontractors and field staff, supporting sampling, data collection, and field documentation. - Participate in a health and safety team performing inspections, observations, and training. - Learn and develop a keen understanding of hazard recognition. - Travel to various job sites within the US. - Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, and commitment to workplace health and safety. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering or other related discipline (e.g., geophysics, geochemistry, environmental geology, engineering geology). - Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. - As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. - Candidate must be able to pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check to obtain U.S. Federal Government Credentials. - Candidate must be able to meet the medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination. - Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required. Requirements - Master's degree in geology, hydrogeology or other related discipline (e.g., geophysics, hydrogeology, geochemistry, environmental geology, engineering geology). - Proficiency in standard office suite software applications. - Selected candidate will be required to complete 40 hour HAZWOPER training and/or annual 8 hour refresher class, if needed. Currently trained is a plus. - Collect and evaluate environmental data in field and office settings. - Prepare investigation reports and drawings. - Possesses technical report writing skills. - Ability to demonstrate professional demeanor in written and verbal communications with clients, regulatory officials, and fellow employees. - Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner. Ability to learn through on-the-job experience. - Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs of sampling equipment and coolers, with assistance up to 90% of the time. - Safely drive and operate a full-size pickup truck. - Be medically fit for wearing a respirator.
