Level Designer

Virtuos

• Design, prototype, and implement high-quality match-3 levels using proprietary level editors (and Unity); • Define and maintain difficulty curves, pacing, and player progression to ensure long-term engagement; • Work with game designers to integrate mechanics, boosters, obstacles, and features into levels; • Analyze player data and feedback to improve level performance and retention; • Maintain documentation of level structures, rules, and design patterns for team alignment; • Support the delivery of seasonal content, LiveOps events, and special level challenges.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in level design for casual mobile games, ideally in solitaire or puzzle genres;
  • Proven track record of designing levels in commercially released games;
  • Strong grasp of match-3 mechanics and puzzle pacing;
  • Proficient with Unity or similar tools used to build and test level content;
  • Data-informed approach with experience analyzing level completion, funnel metrics, and balancing;
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills;
  • Creative thinker with a passion for casual mobile game experiences;
  • At least B2 level of English.
  • Will be a plus:
  • Experience working on games with event-based or seasonal content updates;
  • Familiarity with mobile F2P systems, reward pacing, and in-game economy;
  • Light scripting or configuration experience in Unity;
  • A portfolio of previous game projects.
