Blue Yonder Defense Solutions is seeking an experienced Vice President, Professional Services Delivery to build, lead, and scale its Solution Delivery organization. This role owns end‑to‑end services delivery for defense and government customers, with full accountability for delivery excellence, customer outcomes, and operational effectiveness. This is a hands‑on executive delivery leadership role, responsible for organizing Professional Services capabilities into a cohesive, high‑performing Solution Delivery function. The VP will ensure services are structured to sell effectively, execute predictably, and deliver value at scale. What You’ll Do/Scope: Professional Services & Solution Delivery Leadership - Own and lead the Solution Delivery organization, with accountability for all Professional Services execution - Build organizational structure, roles, and operating models that enable scalable, repeatable delivery across defense customers - Define and execute a global professional services strategy aligned with company growth objectives and customer success outcomes - Establish services as a strategic growth engine, including revenue, margin, and customer expansion goals - Develop scalable services offerings, delivery models, and pricing strategies Delivery Excellence & Customer Outcomes - Own end-to-end delivery of all professional services engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget - Drive consistent, high-quality implementation methodologies and delivery standards across all engagements - Champion customer success by ensuring measurable business outcomes and high satisfaction across the client lifecycle - Ensure delivery teams are set up to succeed from deal handoff through execution and post‑go‑live support - Act as senior escalation leader for complex delivery issues, driving resolution and sustained customer trust Operational Rigor, PMO & Performance Management - Establish and mature PMO standards, governance, and delivery discipline across programs - Ensure best‑in‑class program management practices are consistently applied across customer engagements - Drive predictability, transparency, and accountability in delivery execution Team Leadership & Talent Development - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global professional services organization - Develop leadership capabilities within the team and create a strong succession pipeline - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence - Build, lead, and develop top‑tier program managers, delivery leaders, engineering, and QA teams - Establish clear accountability, performance standards, and career paths within the Solution Delivery organization - Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and delivery excellence Services Enablement & Sales Partnership - Partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships to ensure alignment across the customer journey - Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping, and SOW development - Provide structured feedback to Product teams to influence roadmap based on client needs and implementation insights - Ensure delivery capabilities, costing assumptions, and capacity planning align with how services are positioned and sold - Enable a smooth operating model between sales, deal scoping, and delivery execution (without owning services sales directly) What We’re Looking For: Required Qualifications - 15+ years of experience in professional services, solution delivery, or consulting organizations within enterprise software or SaaS environments - 10+ years of senior leadership experience managing large, global, and distributed delivery teams - Proven track record of scaling professional services organizations and delivering complex, enterprise-level implementations - Deep experience leading PMO functions, program managers, and customer‑facing delivery teams - Strong executive judgment in balancing delivery quality, customer trust, and operational execution - Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, budgets, and margin optimization Preferred Qualifications - Active Security Clearance OR ability to obtain a clearance - Experience delivering enterprise implementations in supply chain, retail, manufacturing, logistics, or related industries - Strong familiarity with services delivery methodologies, resource management models, and services automation platforms - Experience supporting defense, government, or highly regulated customers - Background working in custom solution delivery or mission‑critical systems environments - Experience separating and scaling Product and Delivery organization Executive Leadership & Stakeholder Influence - Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence senior customer and internal stakeholders - Strong communication, decision‑making, and change leadership capabilities in complex, fast‑paced environments - Ability to lead through ambiguity, align cross‑functional teams, and drive accountability at all levels of the organization ------------------------------------------- The base salary range for this position is $212,361 to $275,369 USD. The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
