📍Location: United States - Remote 📈 Reporting to: VP of Marketplaces 💚 Role type: Permanent / Full-time 🚀 Your Role in the Pack As our PR & Affiliate Manager, you'll own the strategy that puts Wuffes in front of the right audiences, in the right publications, at the right moments. This is a dual-discipline role sitting at the intersection of earned media and performance — you'll build the brand visibility that fuels top-of-funnel growth while driving measurable affiliate revenue across Amazon, DTC, and beyond. You understand that PR isn't just about press coverage — it's a lever for SEO, AEO, and GEO. You'll build a presence in the publications and platforms that shape how consumers (and AI-driven search) discover and evaluate pet health brands. From proactive media outreach to high-performing commerce placements, you'll connect organic and paid strategies into a single, coherent narrative. 📒Your responsibilities: PR - Build and execute a proactive PR strategy that drives top-of-funnel awareness and brand credibility across key consumer and trade publications. - Secure consistent editorial coverage across high-authority trade, pet, health, and lifestyle media that supports our SEO and brand-building objectives. - Develop and pitch compelling story angles rooted in Wuffes' science-led positioning, founder narrative, product innovation, and customer impact. - Develop a pipeline of stories without hard ‘news’ - constantly thinking of ways we can create media-worthy brand moments that engage our editorial audience. - Manage press relationships with journalists, editors, and digital publications to build a pipeline of ongoing coverage opportunities. - Ensure Wuffes shows up in the right places when consumers — and AI-powered search tools — are researching pet health, supplements, and dog care. Affiliate - Drive significant revenue growth through high-performing affiliate partnerships, with a focus on Amazon and DTC channels. - Activate and expand relationships with top publishers and commerce editors to secure regular product features and roundup inclusions. - Build and execute publisher strategies for key tentpole moments — including Pet Day, Prime Day, Fall Big Deal Days, and Black Friday/Cyber Monday — to maximise visibility and conversion. - Grow DTC affiliate performance through partners like StackCommerce, GiddyUp, and other high-intent networks. - Collaborate across internal teams to align offers, creative, and channel strategy — identifying new opportunities to expand our publisher footprint. Strategy & Measurement - Develop an integrated PR and affiliate roadmap that connects earned media, content placements, and affiliate revenue into a single strategy. - Track and report on performance across both disciplines — coverage volume, domain authority, affiliate revenue, and attribution — with a clear view on what's driving brand and commercial impact. Stay ahead of how AI-driven search (AEO/GEO) is reshaping content discovery, and proactively position Wuffes to benefit from these shifts. ✅What you bring: - 3–5 years of experience spanning PR and affiliate marketing — with a strong understanding of how earned media and performance channels work together. - Existing relationships with commerce editors, journalists, affiliate managers, or digital publishers in the pet, health, or lifestyle space. - A clear grasp of how PR activity supports SEO, AEO, and GEO — and a track record of securing coverage in high-authority publications. - Experience influencing publisher pipelines, pitching story angles, negotiating placements, and driving measurable performance. - Comfort working with affiliate tools, networks, and performance dashboards (Levanta, Impact, Skimlinks, etc. a plus). - A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset — you spot opportunities, open doors, and follow through with urgency. 💚Perks of the Pack: - Time to recharge - 15 days PTO pls 11 federal holidays to reset, relax and adventure - Health Insurance Reimbursement - to support your coverage - Work from Anywhere - We’re fully remote and you can also enjoy a change of scenery - work from anywhere for two weeks in summer and two weeks in winter (time-zone permitting) - Enhanced Parental leave - More support for life’s important moments and milestones If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please do not hesitate to contact us - we will always be happy to help.
