Technical Product Marketing Lead
FloxFlox is building the next generation of software development lifecycle tooling. We help teams create secure software by construction — managing all software and its dependencies down to the smallest package, with SBOMs and provenance included. Our products are developer tools at their core: command-line-first, systems-level, powered by Nix, built for engineers who care about how software gets made. Flox is a Series B company, backed by NEA, Illuminate, Addition, and D.E. Shaw. Our marketing team operates with the belief that AI fundamentally changes what a small team can ship — and we're building the function to prove it.
ABOUT FLOX Flox is building the next generation of software development lifecycle tooling. We help teams create secure software by construction—managing all software and its dependencies down to the smallest package, with SBOMs and provenance included. Our products are developer tools at their core: command-line-first, systems-level, powered by Nix, built for engineers who care about how software gets made. THE ROLE We're looking for a Technical Product Marketing Lead who can build experiences that tell the story of what happens when infrastructure is mathematically reproducible. You'll create narratives, demos, and interactive experiences across our entire platform the Flox CLI, FloxHub, and a few secret projects coming out soon - that help people truly understand what's possible when they can trust their supply chain and ship infrastructure just as fast as they are shipping their code. This role combines engineering expertise with strategic storytelling: you'll build interactive environments, craft visual narratives around complex systems architecture, and create tools that bring abstract Flox concepts to life. Whether it's showcasing how Flox accelerates CUDA builds, secures agentic workflows, or eliminates environment drift from local to production, you'll engineer the assets that help Fortune 500 CTOs and frontier builders grasp our real-world impact. What distinguishes this role is how you work. You use agentic tools as an operating system to expand your team's leverage, guiding our content and DevRel teams by giving them the exact "enterprise wedge" they need to hit. If you're a deeply technical strategist who thinks in narratives and loves building things that educate, inspire, and drive our GTM engine, this role is for you. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Hands On - Build the Narrative: Build and ship interactive proof-of-concepts, visual stories, and technical demos that prove our impact, make changes to the website, ship the plan. - Arm the Revenue Engine: Develop the technical battlecards, ROI frameworks, and enablement tools our AEs need to drive high-ACV enterprise conversations. - Unify the Market Motion: Partner with Product, Engineering, and DevRel to ensure our enterprise pitch perfectly aligns with the ground-truth developer experience. - ULTRA CURIOSITY: Continuously track the market, trends, customer meetings to directly influence our strategy. - Operate Agentically: Natively use AI tools (Claude, Cursor) to automate research, prototype web experiences, and rapidly accelerate your GTM execution. - Create technical content ecosystems - from interactive tutorials to architectural deep-dives - Develop frameworks, interactive dashboards, and tools that help our sales team tell compelling, data-driven stories tailored to enterprise buyers and engineering leaders. - Partner with product, engineering, and DevRel to translate our Flox-powered roadmap into narratives that excite the market about what's possible. - Command the GTM Narrative: Own the core Flox story, define our enterprise wedge, and craft the messaging that compels engineers and CTOs to act with absolute urgency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - 4+ years of experience in product marketing, developer relations, or solutions engineering at a highly technical infrastructure or DevTool company. - Experience building product marketing narratives - Able to set up and track measurement of success across marketing - pipeline influence, product adoption, and activation signals. - Ability to build and ship full-stack demos and interactive marketing experiences. - Daily use of agentic tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) as a primary workflow for research, writing, and coding. - Ability to seamlessly collaborate with everyone from deeply technical systems engineers to enterprise sales teams. - You think beyond individual features to understand how pieces fit together into compelling narratives, and you have experience presenting those narratives to everyone from startup founders to Fortune 500 executives. - Exceptional, high-density writing skills. You possess the discipline to maintain quality and technical accuracy when content generation is fast and cheap. STRONG SIGNALS - Background at category-defining DevTool companies (e.g., Vercel, HashiCorp, Docker, Tailscale). - Built technical experiences or content that drove measurable pipeline (SQLs) at the enterprise level. - Familiarity with Nix, NixOS, software supply chain security (SBOMs, SLSA), or ML infrastructure (CUDA, Llama.cpp). - A portfolio of projects, writing, or demos that demonstrate both technical depth and strategic narrative thinking. - Previous experience operating in a "Founder Mode" environment where speed, execution, and high-signal communication are paramount.
• Own and run AI-driven outbound campaigns across two brands simultaneously • Source, enrich, and segment leads using tools like Clay or equivalent data enrichment platforms • Build and manage email/outbound sequences via Lemlist or similar tools • Write campaign messaging that resonates — you craft the copy, not just the workflow • Manage and maintain CRM data hygiene in Salesforce or HubSpot • Build workflow automations using Make, Zapier, or similar • Track campaign performance and optimise toward one core KPI: meetings booked / demos signed up
