Job Description
Staff Solutions Engineer, Enterprise EMEA
Snyk
Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud. Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking. It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world. Why this role? As a Staff Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical leader driving Snyk’s biggest and most strategic Enterprise opportunities across EMEA. You’ll partner with our Account Directors and leadership team to secure the technical win, shape customer strategy, and influence how the world’s largest organisations adopt developer security at scale. This is a role for someone who loves complex technical challenges, thrives in Enterprise environments, and can translate deep technical value into clear outcomes for development, security, and business stakeholders. You’ll work across Snyk’s AI-native Developer Security Platform and play a key role in accelerating adoption of our AI-powered remediation capabilities. What You’ll Do: - Be the Technical Expert: Build deep product and competitive expertise, and clearly articulate Snyk’s value to both developer and security audiences. - Drive the Sale: Lead technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements that turn interest into adoption and technical confidence. - Consult and Educate: Champion secure development practices and coach teams on embedding security into their workflows from day one. - Own the Technical Win: Define success criteria, manage trials end-to-end, and align stakeholders to keep momentum and clarity throughout the sales cycle. - Shape the Product: Partner with Product and Engineering to share field insights, influence roadmap direction, and improve real customer outcomes. - Enable the Ecosystem: Collaborate with strategic partners to strengthen technical enablement, joint value propositions, and co-selling success across EMEA Enterprise. What You Bring: - 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a highly technical customer-facing role in a sales environment. - Strong knowledge of developer workflows, DevOps, and modern security practices (AppSec / supply chain / DevSecOps). - Proven experience working with Enterprise customers, navigating complex stakeholders and technical decision-making. - Confidence discussing technical topics across code, dependencies, containers, and cloud – and how security fits into CI/CD. - Ability to run structured technical sales motions (discovery, demo, POV, stakeholder alignment, technical close). - A proactive, collaborative mindset: You plan, align, communicate clearly, and bring people with you. It’d Be Awesome If You Also… - Have hands-on experience as a developer, DevOps engineer, or security engineer (or you can still read code without breaking into a sweat). - Have experience selling or implementing developer tooling in fast-moving, high-growth environments. - Enjoy coaching and mentoring and you make the people around you better. - Are curious about AI in software development and excited by how AI changes the security landscape. - Enjoy working with people who are high-performing and human. - Have a sense of humour – we take our mission seriously, but not ourselves. #LI-CH2 We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway! About Snyk Snyk is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging environment where our employees can thrive as we rally behind our common mission to make the digital world a safer place. From Snyk employee resource groups, to global benefits that help our employees prioritize their health, wellness, financial security, and a work/life blend, we aim to support our employees along their entire journeys here at Snyk.
