This is a remote position that will occasionally have to be onsite in Wooster, Ohio. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through proactive outreach and consultative selling. This role communicates with customers primarily via phone, email, and virtual meetings, providing product information, preparing quotes, and supporting the sales cycle from initial contact to close. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Customer Engagement - Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads through outbound calls, emails, and lead follow‑up. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. - Partner with marketing and field sales teams to support customer acquisition and retention. - Conduct virtual product presentations when needed. Account Management - Develop a strong understanding of customer needs to recommend appropriate products and solutions. - Manage and update customer accounts, ensuring accurate information in the CRM system. - Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales contracts in collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Revenue Growth & Targets - Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals. - Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast sales activities accurately. - Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within assigned accounts. Administrative Duties - Track all interactions and opportunities in the company’s CRM. - Generate reports as needed to support leadership and sales operations. - Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. - 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience required OTHER QUALIFICATIONS - Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Experience with CRM software and database management. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented and efficient in handling administrative duties.
