Position Summary / Objective The Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. This role builds and maintains strong client relationships, executes regional sales strategies, and supports company growth at both regional and national levels while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role is remote, with the requirement that candidates reside anywhere in New York or Connecticut to effectively support and manage regional sales efforts. Position Responsibilities The following duties represent the primary responsibilities of the role. This list is not exhaustive. The individual in this position will perform additional tasks as assigned, adhere to all provisions of the Employee Manual, and participate in company initiatives and projects. Sales & Business Development Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients, expand market share, and increase revenue. Execute regional business plans aligned with company strategic goals. Collaborate with the corporate office to establish pricing strategies, budgets, and sales targets. Identify client needs and deliver customized fireworks display and live event solutions. Client Relationship Management Build, maintain, and grow long-term client relationships. Understand client objectives and provide tailored solutions to meet event requirements. Resolve escalated client issues and concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain professionalism and resilience when managing both successful and unsuccessful sales outcomes. Collaboration & Leadership Collaborate with the President and regional leadership to share best practices. Support and implement company-wide initiatives and operational improvements. Participate in internal projects, planning sessions, and cross-functional collaboration. Industry Representation & Compliance Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and regional conferences. Promote company services and enhance brand visibility. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to fireworks manufacturing, transportation, and displays. Work Environment Remote work with varying travel. This role uses standard equipment such as laptops and smartphones. Physical Demands Ability to remain stationary approximately 50% of the time. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs routinely and 50 lbs occasionally. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, exempt position. Typical work hours follow standard business schedules; however, flexibility is required to support regional needs, client events, and production schedules. All hours worked will comply with applicable labor laws. Travel This position requires travel up to 50% of the time. Travel may include both local and out-of-area trips and may occasionally require overnight stays. QualificationsRequired 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the fireworks industry or a related field. Previous experience in or strong knowledge of live events, entertainment, sports, or performance-based industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred. Experience with Google Workspace, NetSuite, HubSpot, and Monday.com preferred.
