Position Summary Conduct clinical assessments with students to evaluate seriousness of presenting problems and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide students with short-term psychotherapy, conduct group therapy, provide referrals for long-term treatment. Conduct risk assessments, manage high risk situations, utilize crisis intervention skills, and provide referrals and concrete resources. Fully remote Coordinate outreach activities for student population. Conduct workshops, consult with faculty and school administrators, and respond to special needs of student population. Hours: 14 hours per week Qualifications Required Education: LCSW, PsyD, PhD in social work or psychology. Required Experience: Post-graduate experience in crisis response, college mental health, short-term counseling, and group therapy preferred. Experience working with diverse student populations required. Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations required. NY State license or eligibility (limited permit). Additional Information In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $60.
