We’re Looking For - LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist / PsyD - Experienced Mental Health Therapist or Counselor with a passion for helping adults, couples, or teens. Requirements: - 3+ years of mental health counseling experience - Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy - Fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) and can provide therapy without supervision. - A private and professional environment for conducting sessions. - Excellent written communication. - Must have professional liability insurance. - Reliable Internet connection. - Currently residing in the US. What you will do: - Demonstrating and communicating the core values of Better Life Partners - Facilitating group therapy sessions for Better Life Partners clients - Familiarizing with and utilizing Better Life Partners evidence-based curriculum guides and training - Providing detailed feedback and maintaining clinical progress notes on clients - Counseling one-on-one with clients, when deemed necessary - Participating in Better Life Partners’, community research and public health partners’ research and data collection efforts - Formulating and maintaining treatment plans for each client served - Collaborating with community partners and Better Life Partners providers on case management and care coordination efforts - Adhering to professional and ethical work standards, enforcing appropriate counselor/client boundaries - Managing group dynamics and problem behavior with strong, professional judgement and in a way that does not jeopardize group integrity - Maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations for licensing and billing purposes - Attending and engaging in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessary You are a good fit if you have: - Bachelor or Graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field - NH License as LADC, MLADC, LMFT, LCMHC, LICSW; - Master level preferred - 2-3 years of experience working with substance use or related field - Valid driver’s license It will also be great if you have: - Demonstrated experience leading groups therapy sessions, interacting, engaging, and connecting with individuals and groups over telehealth/zoom - Comfortable working with an EMR and/or EHR system, including updating clinical notes - Willingness to travel locally within the communities we serve - Must be able to have a flexible schedule, including the ability to work 2 evenings a week to meet our member’s needs - Self-motivated to help as many people as possible Team player with an “all hands on deck” positive attitude, organized/able to multitask - Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor - Bi-lingual Spanish proficiency Location requirements: - BLP operates in hybrid and remote work environments, which allows us to better meet our members and partners where they’re located.
