Role Description This territory covers Austin, TX. The candidate may reside within close distance to San Antonio. JOB PURPOSE: - Responsible for inventory management of assigned facility while focusing on gaining new distribution, building volume in existing accounts and executing programs at retail accounts within an assigned territory. - The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented, revenue-focused individual who can quickly establish relationships for a growth-oriented sales strategy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Observe the standards of conduct and responsibilities of FSR. - Forecast and order product to maintain accurate inventory levels while ensuring proper product rotation. - Ensure load out inventory levels of own vehicle and others assigned to facility are accurate. - Conduct daily inventory of all products, check accuracy of count, and find discrepancies. - Ensure the facility is secure and all inventory is accounted for. - Identifying, targeting, and sampling existing and potential accounts, both individually and in partnership with distributors, to maximize shelf space allocated and product offerings carried within an assigned territory. - Sell in distribution with proper merchandising standards to new accounts. - Build professional business relationships within assigned territory and use these relationships to maximize merchandising potential. - Merchandising all products within assigned accounts to company standards, ensuring proper product rotation. - Providing reports on day-to-day sales activities and results as required by company and providing necessary back-up to support sales and bonus programs objectives. - Meet established program sales goals and market share targets within territory by utilizing effective sales techniques. - Operate a digital tablet or other device to appropriately demonstrate Kowa’s marketing and sales tools to contribute to the sales process. - Comply with all company policies. - Uphold organizational values. - Maintain a regular work schedule. - Learn and understand regulations and standards related to CPG/Beverage industry. - Display strong independent work ethic, self-motivating. - Use time efficiently; set goals and objectives. - Submit all business expenses in a timely manner according to policy. - Travel independently to training and meetings; this may involve air travel and overnight stay depending upon location. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - HS Diploma required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. - 2 Years outside sales experience; Beverage industry sales experience preferred. - Currently reside within the required geography for territory listed or willing to relocate. - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. - Basic computer operating skills in and outside of an office environment to include handheld devices. - Solid organizational and time management abilities, along with the ability to act independently. - Ability to perform physical activities required by the job duties including occasionally lifting and moving up to 65 pounds individually and greater weights with assistance. - Ability to bend, stretch, stoop, climb, and perform other physical acts associated with selling, demonstrating, and marketing products in an assigned territory. - Availability for travel as required.
