Your Impact Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Newton, New Jersey area. Core Responsibilities - Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems. - Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. - Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment. - Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services. - Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports. - Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience - Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). - 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). - Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred. - Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email. Physical/Work Environment At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards. - Candidates should reside in the Newton, New Jersey area. - Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion. - Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure. - Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem. - Driving to remote work sites as needed. - Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. - Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). - Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Compensation: $27.00-$38.00 hourly/DOE At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
