Tester – Functional, QA Engineer

Leidos

• Supporting quality assurance activities for system development and data migration efforts • Assisting in validating system functionality, performance, and integration to ensure alignment with project requirements • Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand, gather, and document business requirements • Designing, configuring, and building Pega applications, including case management, workflows, user interfaces, and business logic using Pega tools • Implementing integration points with databases, web services (REST/SOAP), and legacy systems • Performing unit and integration testing, debugging applications, and supporting system testing and UAT • Creating and maintaining documentation of application design, configurations, and system changes • Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting technical issues, and enhancing existing workflows • Ensuring all work adheres to Pega development best practices and guardrails • Actively participating in team meetings and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Developing and executing test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Supporting system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect validation
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through resolution
  • Validating data integrity and support data migration testing efforts
  • Collaborating with development and business teams to clarify requirements and expected outcomes
  • Maintaining test documentation, test results, and traceability matrices
  • Working with enterprise application testing and SDLC processes
  • Exposure and knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems
  • Applying basic SQL knowledge for data validation

Job Description The Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Specialist – CONTRACTOR is responsible for providing face-to-face orientation and mobility services to eligible special education students with visual impairments enrolled in virtual public schools within the K12/Stride network. Services are provided in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The O&M Specialist will collaborate with virtual school teams to support students’ travel skills, independence, safety, and access across home, school, and community environments. This is an Independent Consultant position (1099). Role Description As a QA Manual Tester, you will conduct Software Quality Assurance testing activities to ensure that Claritev’s application products operate correctly and meet specified requirements and to work as part of a team with influence across a larger organization. This is a remote 6-month contract with possibility of extension. - Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for Claritev applications. - Create the corresponding test strategy, test plans, and test cases for Claritev’s SQA team. - Execute SQA testing of Claritev’s applications in accordance with project documentation and aligned with company standards. - Perform back-end (database) testing using complex SQL queries on Oracle and SQL Server databases. - Perform regression and integration testing. - Perform front-end (functional) testing of Web and GUI applications. - Analyze test results and log defects in JIRA. - Partner with project team members on the resolution and re-testing of identified defects and issues. - Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. - Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s core values.
