Job Requirements

  • Ten years of experience in an IT related position or have ten years of experience in IT-Operations or Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related subject matter area from an accredited college or university
  • Current driver’s license
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship
  • Application development experience with .NET, SQL, and/or Microsoft SharePoint
  • Ability to oversee an organization’s IT Systems, manage and lead staff including daily operational needs, project planning, technology updates, and management briefings
  • Ability to plan, design, develop, evaluate, test, and integrate an organization’s systems IT infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software

Role Description The Clinical Business Systems Analyst serves the product organization as a liaison to business and technology stakeholders in the role of defining systems requirements, scope, and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of clinical business systems and industry requirements. - Collaborate with product management, development, and business customers (internal and external) to understand planned enhancements, systems modifications, or specifications for new systems. (*) - Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, technology infrastructure evaluations, and/or preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align information technology solutions with product initiatives. - Collaborate with customers on requirements by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. - Promote the integration of a consultative ‘Voice-of-the-Customer’ approach with the elicitation of functional requirements as well as with the review and feedback mechanisms for conceptual designs. - Analyze product management goals, business, and end-user needs, documenting requirements and making recommendations for system logic, enhancements, server capacity planning, or flow, as necessary. - Analyze and make recommendations for improvement to existing business processes and systems. You will collaborate closely with AMD Instinct platform architects, system designers, and firmware teams to help shape scalable, rack‑level AI systems that deliver exceptional performance and business value for our customers. You will be a key contributor within the Data Center GPU, Customer Technical Readiness Leadership (CTRL) organization, performing systems engineering work with a focus on networking and storage considerations at the rack and system level. The role involves deep engagement with MDCs, OEMs, and ODM partners as we jointly develop and deploy best‑in‑class AI infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities - Analyze system level requirements for China-based customers, doing feasibility analyses and translate them into technical requirements for AMD Instinct® rack scale products. - Ability to translate data center business and usage models into a set of system hardware features and requirements. - Shape the overall technical direction of our AI solutions through customer insights gathered during concept and pre-sales timeframe. - Provide architectural guidance and support to internal systems design teams to develop reference designs. - Develop and drive design review processes of our customer’s platform designs and flag areas that could be modified to improve quality, performance, or other areas key to their competitiveness. - Provide strategic oversight for our AMD participation in industry consortiums, driving forward key AI initiatives. - Drive future product architecture influence, leveraging insights from deep customer execution engagements.
