• Lead and facilitate all Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. • Coach the team on Agile principles and practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum framework and guiding the team towards continuous improvement. • Identify and remove impediments or blockers that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary to ensure smooth project flow. • Shield the team from external distractions and influences, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality work during each sprint. • Foster collaboration and communication within the team and across departments, promoting a culture of transparency, trust, and accountability. • Assist the team in making decisions by facilitating discussions, gathering relevant information, and ensuring alignment with project goals. • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the Product Backlog is maintained and prioritized, reflecting the latest business priorities. • Monitor and track the team's progress towards sprint goals, ensuring transparency and visibility into project status for stakeholders. • Encourage self-organization within the team, empowering team members to take ownership of tasks and make decisions collectively. • Actively seek feedback from team members and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance team performance.

• Responsible for operating beyond the team level, acting strategically across the organization to raise agile maturity, remove systemic impediments, and drive modern collaboration practices and continuous value delivery. • Facilitate and optimize the operation of one or more agile teams, ensuring pragmatic alignment with Scrum and Agile principles and values. • Work at the organizational level, influencing leaders, managers, PMOs, business areas, and operations to remove structural impediments and improve end-to-end flows. • Lead and facilitate large-scale agile transformations, cross-team continuous improvement programs, and cultural evolution. • Perform systemic diagnosis using advanced metrics and tools (e.g., throughput, lead time, aging chart, predictability, bottleneck analysis, organizational maturity). • Navigate complex flows, ambiguous environments, and extended decision chains, promoting flow and focus on value. • Facilitate discussions on risk, dependencies, prioritization, and strategic alignment between technical and business areas. • Act as a mentor and technical/cultural reference, developing other Scrum Masters and professionals involved in the delivery flow. • Mediate and resolve highly complex conflicts, operating with empathy, diplomacy, and influential presence in politically sensitive environments. • Collaborate with Product Owners to improve backlog management, continuous discovery, and value maximization. • Ensure adoption of transparency, inspection, and adaptation practices at tactical and strategic levels. • Create product and team reports according to agile methodology (e.g., critical analysis of team metrics such as burndown, burnup, velocity, lead time, throughput, roadmap, cost, value capture, schedule). • Work to resolve open incidents related to applications supported by the team within the agreed SLA, clarifying issues between requesters and the team, and monitoring and updating the client's service management tools. • Participate with the team in SAFe ceremonies and represent the team whenever the team's presence is not required. • Work with the client to validate and approve the team's deliveries. • Request and follow up on necessary tasks with Infrastructure or other teams (e.g., AD/DBA, integration bus, SAP) required for the team's work. • Facilitate all procedures for deploying solutions/improvements and production fixes. • Perform related activities as directed by the manager.

• The purpose of this role is to be able to build a maximum of three high performing multi-discipline teams (usually of size 8-10) of developers, QA resources and testers in The SAFe Agile Scrum Development process. • The Lead Scrum master will provide the coaching, mentoring and day to day governship of the Scrum process to ensure that all Agile development best practices are followed and the teams reach their full potential and are able to self-manage. • If not directly mentoring more than one team, the Lead Scrum Master will be usually seen building and mentoring the team needed within the most complex area or with teams which have the most challenges to overcome to be highly performing. • The Lead Scrum master will facilitate and drive the development of a consistent of processes across the department that creates the underlying Scrum Framework utilised by all members of the Scrum teams. • They will own the Spint planning process for their own teams, building teams of self-organised resources, and defining/facilitating key processes such as the product backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives. • Ultimately, the Lead Scrum Master must remove any impediments that are stopping the team complete the developments they have contracted to the Business will be delivered in the Sprint. • The Lead Scrum Master will act as lead for the Scrum of Scrums meeting and will take the lead in educating other teams, in and outside of the department in developing agile processes, being able to act as an Agile Delivery lead for new implementations of Agile across the organisation.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to Agile principles. • Manage Kanban workflows and optimize throughput for teams operating in continuous delivery environments. • Coordinate across multiple teams in SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks, ensuring synchronization and dependency management. • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, release plans, and risk registers aligned to business priorities and delivery milestones. • Track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate status updates to stakeholders with clarity and transparency. • Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery predictability. • Utilize MS Planner or equivalent tools for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting. • Create dashboards and visual reports to provide real-time visibility into team performance, velocity, and burn-down metrics. • Ensure accurate and timely updates to project artifacts for auditability and compliance. • Serve as the primary liaison between business owners, technical teams, and leadership, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities. • Facilitate collaborative decision-making and resolve conflicts to maintain team focus and morale. • Deliver executive-ready presentations summarizing progress, risks, and recommendations. • Promote a culture of learning and adaptability, encouraging teams to experiment and adopt best practices. • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, roles, and responsibilities to strengthen organizational agility. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and team satisfaction.
