Senior Scrum Master

• Responsible for operating beyond the team level, acting strategically across the organization to raise agile maturity, remove systemic impediments, and drive modern collaboration practices and continuous value delivery. • Facilitate and optimize the operation of one or more agile teams, ensuring pragmatic alignment with Scrum and Agile principles and values. • Work at the organizational level, influencing leaders, managers, PMOs, business areas, and operations to remove structural impediments and improve end-to-end flows. • Lead and facilitate large-scale agile transformations, cross-team continuous improvement programs, and cultural evolution. • Perform systemic diagnosis using advanced metrics and tools (e.g., throughput, lead time, aging chart, predictability, bottleneck analysis, organizational maturity). • Navigate complex flows, ambiguous environments, and extended decision chains, promoting flow and focus on value. • Facilitate discussions on risk, dependencies, prioritization, and strategic alignment between technical and business areas. • Act as a mentor and technical/cultural reference, developing other Scrum Masters and professionals involved in the delivery flow. • Mediate and resolve highly complex conflicts, operating with empathy, diplomacy, and influential presence in politically sensitive environments. • Collaborate with Product Owners to improve backlog management, continuous discovery, and value maximization. • Ensure adoption of transparency, inspection, and adaptation practices at tactical and strategic levels. • Create product and team reports according to agile methodology (e.g., critical analysis of team metrics such as burndown, burnup, velocity, lead time, throughput, roadmap, cost, value capture, schedule). • Work to resolve open incidents related to applications supported by the team within the agreed SLA, clarifying issues between requesters and the team, and monitoring and updating the client's service management tools. • Participate with the team in SAFe ceremonies and represent the team whenever the team's presence is not required. • Work with the client to validate and approve the team's deliveries. • Request and follow up on necessary tasks with Infrastructure or other teams (e.g., AD/DBA, integration bus, SAP) required for the team's work. • Facilitate all procedures for deploying solutions/improvements and production fixes. • Perform related activities as directed by the manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields (e.g., web design, product design, business administration, physics, chemistry, engineering), or a postgraduate degree in a related area.
- Required: at least one agile-method certification: Scrum Master - CSM, ACSM (Scrum Alliance), PSM I, PSM II, PSM III (Scrum.org); SAFe - SAFe Agilist (Scaled Agile); Kanban - Kanban Management Professional (Lean Kanban University).
- Preferred experience: 5 years working with agile metrics.
- Knowledge of Agile methods.
