The Director owns transformation outcomes that materially impact growth, efficiency, and customer experience through AI-enabled operating models. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE - Leads enterprise or business unit–wide transformation programs aligned with strategic objectives. - Shapes transformation strategy and translates enterprise priorities into executable roadmaps. - Sponsors large-scale AI-enabled process redesign and technology enablement initiatives. - Partners with VPs and executive leaders to align priorities, resources, and outcomes. - Establishes enterprise-level governance, success metrics, and benefit realization frameworks. - Drives cultural adoption of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. - Ensures transformation outcomes are embedded into operating models. - Serves as a trusted advisor with executive presence and strategic insight. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance. - Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations. - Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions. QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Certifications related to business transformation and/or AI preferred. Ten (10+) years of experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives or equivalent combination of education and experience required. The Director, Pre-Access will work closely with other revenue cycle and facility leadership to understand upstream/downstream impacts of workflow and processes and takes the "big picture" approach to problem-solving and mitigating front-end denials. Some travel may be required. Essential Job Functions - Establishes department strategy, direction, and breakdown of department assignments by leader. Leads pre-access managers who lead their functions across the pre-access teams, focusing on standardization, consistency, and best practices. - Partners with other revenue cycle and facility leaders within their scope to ensure upstream/downstream impacts of workflow, and to establish positive relationships while fostering open two-way communication. Serves as the pre-access service line contact to our internal business partners (IP/OP/Surg). - Coaches and develops department managers and assists in use of reporting and analytics to find trends, develop action plans, and implement process improvement. Leads managers through denial reviews to find gaps in workflow and processes and implements strategy to mitigate. - Audits accounts and reviews denials to ensure effectiveness of workflow processes in place and collaborates with upstream/downstream impacts to improve process based on findings. - Ensures adherence to the departmental budget and prepares monthly reports as requested.
