We have an opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist. You will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of new products and advanced technology. This role is key in delivering technical expertise and building confidence in customers to adopt our innovative solutions. This role is fully remote and requires someone to be located in the Texas area. You will: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, driving disruption and interest through the value of our new products in the market. - Deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations, articulating the technical value proposition of new products and advanced technology. - Provide technical support and guidance to clients, helping them understand how our innovative products can meet their needs. - Support the technical onboarding of adopting customers including training, troubleshooting, and initial installations. - Keep detailed records of sales opportunities, customer interactions, and sales performance. - Collaborate with the sales team to support the adoption of new products and advanced technology by customers. - Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to inform sales strategies. - Assist in the preparation of technical proposals. - Provide regular updates and reports to the Regional Sales Manager on sales performance and market insights. - Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and sales skills. - Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to build and strengthen relationships. - Act as a technical expert, providing confidence to customers in the adoption of new products and advanced technology. Key Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or proven experience in technical sales role preferred. - Strong technical knowledge and the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to analyze data and sales performance metrics. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - High level of professionalism and integrity. - Enthusiasm for sales and a willingness to learn and grow. Compensation: For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated TTC range will be from $92200 - $171100 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus and/or sales incentives.
