Job Title: Engineering Project Manager Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: CACI is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to manage IT Engineering efforts supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS). As a project manager, you will work with the Senior Management Team to develop an integrated master schedule, cyber roadmaps, identify and manage continuous improvement projects, and work alongside a large team of several hundred personnel working to integrate at-scale enterprise solutions together. Responsibilities: - Manage a team of engineers, and junior managers, between 15 and 30 personnel. Includes personnel development, annual assessments, and semi-annual personnel evaluations. - Organize, plan, schedule, and report on all elements of the Project Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Develop and Maintain the Project Management Plan - Track and manage customer Goals - Managed project Risks and Issues with weekly reviews and daily updates (as required) - Identify redundant efforts, make recommendations on project efficiencies, and implement continuous improvement for processes and procedures - Responsible for the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) by decomposing the contract order within Project Online. - Work with the program technical lead on the 2-year goals and objectives for the successful delivery of the Project Scope. - Support cost management with the program finance team to manage project costs; develop ODC spend plan by quarter to track project hardware and software expenditures. - Direct and review the work of project team members - Work with assigned technical lead to prioritize work and ensure successful delivery of program, and project, milestones. Qualifications: Required: - Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance - 15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience). - 10 years of experience as a project manager - 3 years of experience developing schedules within Microsoft Project, or Microsoft Project Online - 3 years of experience managing project cost models for Labor and Other Direct Costs (ODC's) - 1 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense - Experience developing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) - Experience Developing project roadmaps projecting 18+ months of project milestones - Excellent public speaking skills with experience briefing senior leaders; both contractor and government One of the following: - Certification: Project Management Professional - PMP - 4-year degree: Technical Management Degree Travel - Travel up to 25% of the year - Quarterly to Boston, MA - As required to the Department of the Air Force Bases Work Location - Chantilly, VA - Every Thursday must be in the Chantilly office with 2 additional days (at a minimum) - Hybrid Office/Home is allowed with approval of supervisor - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
