Senior Sourcing Initiatives Leader – New Commercial Products

GE Aerospace

• Design, develop and deploy new processes, standards and capabilities within Results Delivery Office initiatives for the Strategic Sourcing organization. • Embracing continuous improvement to aid the internal stakeholder in achieving customer outcomes. • Own sourcing specific ERPs, processes and tools. • Deploying process and standards on time utilizing influencing skills and expertise in P&SM systems, tools, Contract Management & Review and existing standard work. • High complexity problem solving within P&SM processes, standards and tools. • Responsible to communicate complex messages to a variety of stakeholders. • Negotiates internally with others to adopt a different point of view. • Influences peers to take action, partner to the commodity teams and horizontal functions. • Act as a subject matter expert on Contract Management; can speak to connectivity of processes and outcomes. • Provides feedback to partner organizations to ensure seamless SIPOC and RACI determinations. • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Procurement & Supplier Management initiatives, systems and processes experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing/ Procurement, Supply Chain or Contract Management roles
  • Previous Contract Management, Contract Performance review experience.
  • Participation in broad process improvements at the organization level.
  • Expert in Change Acceleration with demonstrated influencing capabilities at peer group and above.
  • Stakeholder engagement and network capability.
  • FLIGHT DECK practitioner.
  • Strong process and systems knowledge in P&SM and Contract Management.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
